Profile

Nathalie van der Hooft - van Bladeren (1969)

After graduation as a Work-, Organizational-  and Social Psychologist (1994, University of Groningen, The Netherlands) I have gained broad working experience as an HR-advisor and recruitment-consultant in different branches, such as: professional services, ICT, mental health care and (semi-)government.

In January 2008 I started my own Coaching Business: Van der Hooft – Coaching. As a working mum I strived for a better work/life balance. Since coaching, developing  and advising people have given me great pleasure throughout my career I decided to make that my profession: Coach.

Van der Hooft – Coaching has evolved  into a successful business the last 2 years.

My specialty is the coaching of professionals in a wide sense: queries about career direction, work/life balance, professional development & growth, communication & conflicts, motivation, stress/burn-out etc.

My vision is, that every person has the strenght and ability to actively desing his/her (working) life. A life, that represents your own wishes, desires and needs. Sometimes, however, you need some support or a sounding-board. That sounding-board: empathic, concrete, upright and expert, I can be for you.

To continue to grow as a professional and as a person, I have attended a 2 year training at the Academy of Coaching and Counselling in The Hague. Also, I am certified as a Practitioner Developmental Coaching (2009, Gossen & van Dormolen) and Burn-out Coach (2010, Coachcounsellor Yes Vieyra).

I also often participate in group intervision meetings to get another perspective on my professional attitude and approach and to maintain and improve my qualities as a professional coach.

Some time ago I became under the spell of a fairly new method for coaching: Online Coaching and I received training from Mirjam Windrich (the pioneer of Online Coaching in The Netherlands).

With Online Coaching, you have daily emailcontact with your coach. Because of your intensive writing process, major changes can occur in a relatively short period of time. This writing process, at your own convenient time and pace,  will lead to deep introspection and self-reflection. Therefore you’ll no longer be stuck in a situation that can be perceived as highly complex or emotional. However, you’ll be able to experience this situation from a certain distance since the online coaching process will put in order all your thoughts, emotions and behaviour.

I hope I have been able to infect you with my enthusiasm for (Online) Coaching. Please feel free to contact me by using the contact form and you'll receive a free answer as soon as possible.

"I have been working for almost 2 years with Nathalie now, with great pleasure. She was hired as a

(career-)coach for our ICT-department. I have come to known Nathalie as an upright and passionate person. One that has an open attitude towards others and is serious in her work. Warm, friendly yet also very clear and transparent. She stays close to herself and gives room to other people. The last year we have accomplished a lot with our people. Changes are not always perceived as positive, but we were able, also with Nathalie's professional contribution and support, to manage the changes in a constructive atmosphere." (September 2009)
